Massage therapy uses skilled pressure and movement to work on muscles and other soft tissues. It’s widely used for relaxation, easing muscle tension and short-term relief of common aches—while supporting overall wellbeing. 

At Slimm & Well, you can choose from focused Back & Neck, restorative Lymph Drainage, aromatic Aromatherapy, performance-oriented Sports Massage, or a smoothing Full Body Exfoliation & Nourishing treatment. We’ll help you pick what best fits your goals and schedule.

How it Works

Procedure Details

Back, Neck & Shoulders (30 min)
Focused work to ease desk-related tightness and everyday strain in the upper back, neck and shoulders. Expect firm, comfortable pressure and assisted stretches as needed.

 

Lymph Drainage (60 min)
Very light, rhythmic strokes that help move excess fluid toward functioning lymph nodes; often used for swelling (lymphedema) and to calm puffiness. Not suitable for certain medical conditions (see Risks/Benefits).

 

Aromatherapy (60 min)
A soothing Swedish-style massage using diluted essential oils selected for your preference; evidence for specific medical effects is mixed, but many people report improved mood and relaxation.

 

Sports Massage (60 min)
Deeper, targeted techniques (and assisted stretching) for active people to help with tightness around heavily-used muscle groups and to aid post-training recovery.

 

Full Body Exfoliation & Nourishing (60 min)
A gentle whole-body polish to remove surface dead skin cells, followed by nourishing hydration for a smoother feel; exfoliation should be done gently and matched to skin type.

Risks / Benefits

Our massage treatments at Slimm & Well are designed to deeply relax the body, ease muscle tension, and promote better sleep and mood. Many clients also enjoy improved circulation and a sense of overall wellbeing, with only mild, temporary after-effects like light tenderness or relaxation tiredness that quickly pass.

Recovery and Outlook

Most people resume normal activity immediately. Hydrate well, and expect any post-massage soreness to settle within a day or two. For stubborn tightness, a short series of sessions can help; athletes often book maintenance or pre/post-event work.

When To Call Us

Get in touch if you notice unusual swelling, rash, persistent or sharp pain, dizziness, or if symptoms worsen after a lymph-drainage session. We’ll advise on aftercare or refer as needed.

How often should I book?

It depends on your goals. Many clients enjoy a monthly massage for ongoing stress relief, while those with training schedules or persistent tension may benefit from more frequent sessions at first, followed by maintenance visits.

Will I feel sore after?

You might feel a little tender after deeper massage, but it’s usually mild and short-lived. Drinking water and gentle movement afterwards help your body recover comfortably.

 

What’s the difference between sports massage and deep tissue?

Sports massage focuses on muscles used in specific activities and may include stretching, while deep tissue massage targets general areas of tightness and chronic tension.
