Our professional waxing treatments offer long-lasting smoothness, reduced regrowth, and beautifully soft skin — in a calm, hygienic setting tailored to your comfort and results.
Waxing is one of the most effective and reliable hair removal solutions, offering longer-lasting results than shaving and smoother skin with every session. At Slimm & Well, our waxing services are designed to remove unwanted hair safely and efficiently from virtually any area of the body — from brows and face to legs, underarms, bikini, and full body waxing.
We use high-quality waxes suited to your skin type and sensitivity level, including gentle options for delicate areas. Our experienced therapists ensure a professional, discreet, and comfortable experience every time. Whether you’re preparing for a holiday, special event, or simply prefer the clean, smooth feel of waxed skin, we tailor your session to suit your needs.
Waxing remains a popular choice for both women and men due to its effectiveness, affordability, and ability to reduce hair growth over time. With regular treatments, regrowth becomes finer, lighter, and easier to manage — giving you smoother skin for longer.
Waxing is a quick, effective method of removing unwanted hair from both larger areas like the legs and more delicate areas such as the upper lip or bikini line.
The treatment begins by cleansing and drying the skin to ensure the wax adheres properly. Hair length is checked—ideally about 0.6 cm for best removal—and longer hair may be trimmed for comfort. Warm wax is then applied in the direction of hair growth and swiftly removed while the skin is held taut, allowing for cleaner removal at the root.
Afterwards, the area is soothed with a cool compress if needed, followed by a light, non-comedogenic moisturiser to calm the skin. Clients are advised to avoid heat, friction, and tight clothing immediately after treatment to allow the skin to settle.
Waxing offers several benefits compared to shaving: smoother results with a longer gap between regrowth, finer regrowth over time, and the ability to effectively treat both large areas and smaller, more delicate regions.
When performed by trained professionals with strict hygiene, waxing also reduces the chance of ingrown hairs and irritation.
Normal effects include temporary redness or mild irritation, which typically resolve within a day or two. If redness persists beyond 48 hours, clients should contact us. Rare risks include burns if wax is overheated (we always test temperature for safety), or increased skin fragility if performed while on certain medications.
Waxing is not recommended if you are currently taking isotretinoin or have taken it within the past six months, nor should facial waxing be done within 2–5 days of using retinoids. Some antibiotics may also increase skin sensitivity, so it’s important to disclose any medications during consultation.
Most clients can return to normal activities right after waxing, with only minor precautions needed. For the first 24–48 hours, we recommend avoiding hot baths or showers, intense exercise, and wearing very tight clothing, as these may irritate freshly treated skin.
Moisturising will help keep the skin calm, while applying sunscreen to exposed areas is essential to protect against sensitivity. With proper care, results last longer than shaving, leaving skin smooth and hair-free for weeks.
If you experience persistent redness beyond 48 hours, unusual swelling, blistering, or signs of infection, please contact us. Our team will guide you on appropriate aftercare and, if necessary, advise whether you should seek medical attention.
Waxing is ideal for clients who want smooth, hair-free skin with longer-lasting results than shaving, treating both large areas and delicate zones safely and effectively — all without the daily hassle of razors.
Typically a few weeks or longer, depending on area and growth rate.
Keep the area clean, switch to breathable clothing, moisturise with non-comedogenic products, and begin gentle exfoliation only after the first 2–3 days if skin is calm. Persistent ingrowns may require pausing waxing until resolved.
We can patch-test, adjust wax type/temperature, and suggest a post-care plan. If irritation lasts >48h, contact us.
These areas are more delicate; they should be performed by trained professionals with strict hygiene and temperature checks—exactly how we work.
